Remote Location Services

Periodically we are asked to service remote locations with no roads to them or perhaps just a rough trail.  In 2010 we purchased a John Deere XUV825i All Terrain Vehicle.  This machine is like a cross between a small pickup truck and a bulldozer, with its rubber tracks, it can cross ground so soft that the human foot will sink in it.  Also, the tracks add significant ground clearance on the underside of the machine such that it can plow through water and fluid mud twenty four inches deep.

The XUV825i is equipped with a hydaulic dump body,  3,000 pound winch, high powered lights, cb radio, stereo radio, full underbody skid plates and a trailer hitch.  It has a trailer with extendable tongue to haul long materials or more capacity than just the machine body.

In snow situations, the XUV825i will easily plow through powdered snow thirty inches deep.  When the snow gains density, the machine rides up on top with no limit to how deep the snow is.

With this piece of equipment we service remote camps, trail bridges, trails, search and rescue to name a few.

This is an old New England tongue in cheek saying “you can’t get there from here!”  With this machine you can!
