Painting is a suprisingly significant volume of our total work output. This service has grown rapidly for Hotchkiss Construction over the last several years.

1. Most Important: All our employees are trained to look for potential and existing problems with a building. There is always a reason for paint failure and we know how to find it. Our approach to looking for problems and fixing them has saved building owners thousands of dollars by addressing these things in a timely manner before they grow into something much larger.

3. We own our high lift equipment and control its schedule. Our equipment is customized for the work we do. It causes little to no property damage unlike most rental equipment used by other contractors, our operators use this equipment every day and are highly skilled with it. All operators are HCS Certified for safety.
4. Some portions of a job can be done in our shop. Typically windows, doors, and shutters are taken to the shop if major work is to be done. This allows the work to be done faster and with better quality than in the field. Also, the mess of stripped paint and dust is kept from your site. In the shop we also repair damaged or rotted windows, doors and shutters - a service most painting contractors can’t offer. We customize new replacement doors that can not be purchased in an appropriate size from door manufacturers.
