Meet the management

Mr. Stuart Hotchkiss

Stuart Hotchkiss Owner/Manager

Owner and manager, Stuart Hotchkiss has made the construction business a life long career.  When first starting out, he first graduated military school and went to college for civil construction and archetectural drawing.  His first step into business was building successful landscape and tree removal company on the Connecticut shoreline.  At several customer’s requests, Mr. Hotchkiss sold his first company and formed an excavating business that catered primarily to housing development though it grew into other areas too.  Drainage and soils stabilization were what he was most recongnized for.

In 1997, Mr. Hotchkiss struggled with major back issues and doctors warned him to quit the business or end up in a wheel chair.  The company was sold and Mr. Hotchkiss continued on a management level only.  In 2002 it was time for a major change.  He sold his holdings in Connecticut and purchased the current property in Jefferson, New Hampshire.  It was a major project removing the existing buildings and building the new facility but, non the less, a complete success.  During the building of the new facility, Mr. Hotchkiss was building Hotchkiss Construction Services LLC.  Today it is one of the most respected small construction companies in the area.

Mrs. Brenda Hotchkiss

Mrs. Brenda Hotchkiss Owner/Office Manager

In the fall of 2010, the position of “Office Manager” became available.  Mr. Hotchkiss’ wife Brenda was ready to make a career change and agreed to take on the task.  Brenda was well qualified for the position.  She graduated from White Mountains Community College with a focus on Office Assistant with a concentration in medical, medical billing and coding.  This gave her good skills with the computer, something badly needed in our office.  There is tremendous responsibility with her job here and she has excelled with it.  The office is much better organized, tasks are completed on time and, things that should have been done with the computer are now done with the computer.
